What is component Level Repair?
Component Level repair is the repair or replacement of the components imbedded on your motherboard or in your LCD screen.
Why do I need Component Level Repair?
With Component Level repair, we can actually repair the faulty areas of your motherboard, for much less than replacing the entire part itself. This can also be done with LCD screens in some cases.
How do I know my laptop won’t go bad again after you repair it?
Most motherboards in laptops today are designed to fail. Meaning if your running a lot of programs or your system is always working hard, the motherboard will eventually short out. This normally happens outside the 1 year warranty.
What we do is we repair the issue and the motherboard to a state that it was never before. Meaning it will be more durable then it was when it was new.
Why did major electronics retailers quote me almost five times what you quoted me, and why can’t they do the repair you do?
The answer is, they don’t perform component level repair for the consumer. Most companies that do the repair do it for internal use or for other major corporations in large quantity. It is not cost-effective for a large electronics retailer to offer this service to the public.
Many companies claim they can do motherboard repair, can they all do it?
The answer to this is NO. There are other companies that do know what they are doing. However, many companies offer this service and they DO NOT know how to do it, and/or they only do real minor repairs.
Always be aware that many “technicians” in an effort to repair your laptop, end up damaging it even further. An A+ certification requires very little knowledge of laptop hardware, and no certification of repairing the actual motherboard.
