Repair Process
To send in your laptop(s) for repair, please fill out the provided
request form.
Any information provided to Pell Technology, Inc. is never shared and always
kept confidential.
After you fill out the form, we will email you a REPAIR TICKET. On this
ticket, we will give you an estimate of the cost of repair. 90% of the time this
estimate will hold strong. If for some reason it does not, you will be contacted
before we move forward with any repair.
Print out the repair ticket and attach it to your laptop.
Please include the complete laptop, unless otherwise discussed. In some cases,
in order to repair your laptop, we are forced to re-format your hard drive. We
always try to recover all information and transfer to the clean partition, but
in some cases the information is too corrupt.
Please include in the box:
1. Your laptop with the repair ticket *Please feel free to write any other
information on the repair ticket that you think may help our technicians repair
the laptops
2. Your battery, hard drive, and any other removable components are recommended.
3. You do not need to include your AC Adapter if you are sure it is in good
working order. If you question this, please include it.
RUSH FEE
We do understand that some repairs need to be rushed, and turned around. We
can offer same-day turn-around, or express service which is faster than the
regular turn-around. Please contact us for our current rate and turn-around.
Warranty
We offer a 90 day warranty on all parts and labor rendered. However, we only
warranty the service or part we repaired. Parts or problems that fail, that are
not related to our initial work ARE NOT covered under warranty. In most cases,
we will however repair these problems at a discounted rate
